Lightning Preseason Tickets Start at $25

The Lightning preseason ticket prices offer some sweet options for different budgets.

The Bolts will open their 2026 preseason against the Nashville Predators on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Benchmark International Arena. The puck drops at 5 p.m.

Preseason games typically draw less interest than regular-season or playoff matchups, and teams may not dress their full NHL lineups. Still, the game gives fans their first opportunity of the season to see the Lightning at home, hear the goal horns, and experience live hockey. As of Sept. 13, Ticketmaster listings range from $25 to $540 per ticket. The displayed prices include fees before taxes and reflect a search for two seats.

Cheapest Option: $25

The least-expensive tickets cost $25 each in several upper-level sections.

Section 312, Row C, stands out because the seats are close to the front of the upper bowl. Other $25 listings appear in Sections 306, 322, and 327.

Two tickets would cost $50 before taxes. This option suits fans who want to experience the atmosphere and see the full rink without spending heavily.

Middle Option: $70.80

A verified resale ticket in Section 110, Row M, costs $70.80 per person.

The lower-level location puts spectators closer to the game’s physicality while still offering enough elevation to follow the action. Two tickets would cost $141.60 before taxes. For many fans, this option offers the best balance between price, proximity, and overall watching experience.

Most Expensive Listing: $540

The highest-priced listing on Ticketmaster is a verified resale ticket in Section 114, Row A, for $540. It includes food and drinks.

Preseason rosters can change, and star players may not be included. But the game could give fans an early look at prospects, offseason additions, and players competing for spots on the roster.

Although the arena may not have the atmosphere of a sold-out playoff game, the Sept. 20 opener offers fans the first chance to hear the cheers and welcome the Lightning back to the ice.
